Title: Farmers' Institute To Hold Five Day Course

George Verner, president of the Farmers' Institute, informs us that the institute this year will be held during the week beginning October 23rd. Instead of having the usual three day course we are to have a five day course this year. The two previous institutes held in this city were a success and attracted a great deal of attention, and we see no reason why this year's institute can not be made better and larger. The farmers in this vicinity have taken lots of interest in the institute and the exhibits they have had on display, together with the exhibits of baking fancy work, etc., by the ladies, have certainly been fine. Let's all put our shoulder to the wheel and make this year's institute the best yet. Mr. Vernor informs us he intends to call a meeting the latter part of the month or the fore part of next, when plans will be talked over. Watch for this date and be there.
