Casting Digital Nets

Andrew Renner, fish informer, pulled William Boetker and two Harvey boys, living between Geddes and Platte, while in the act of unlawfully taking fish from the lake Tuesday night. Renner was struck by one of the boys in his attempt to arrest them, and upon reaching town they made haste for home with Marshal Dvorak and Renner in pursuit. A phone had been sent to the marshal at Geddes to head them off, but before the culprits reached that town the pursuing officers nabbed them and had them appear before Justice Exline. The parties furnished bonds for appearance before that justice on the 17th.
