A Warning: There are a number of parties who are fishing on the lake for bass, which they are selling and shipping. For the benefit of those persons who doubtless do not realize that they are violating the law in selling or offering to sell these fish, we quote the law which is a part of Sec. 3103 of the State Game laws and read as follows:

"It shall be unlawful to sell or offer to sell at any time, any trout, bass, shad, croppies, and pike, taken or killed in any of the waters of this state, or to ship or transport them out of the state. It shall be unlawful for any express company or other carrier to receive, ship or transport any of the food fish aforesaid, taken or killed in any of the public waters of the state."

The law also makes it unlawful to have in possession any of the above named fish measuring less than 6 inches in length.

The penalty for a violation of these laws is a fine of not less than $50 nor more than $100 for each offense.
