Game Laws
Following are the conditions surrounding the shooting of game in this state:
The open season for prairie chickens begins September 10 and ends on the night of October 9, while for ducks and other water fowl, the season is open from September 10 to April 9. Following are a few of the regulations in the state game laws:
Bag limit, small game — Prairie chickens, grouse, plover—10 in one day; not over 25 in possession at any one time. Aquatic fowl—20 in one day; not over 50 in possession at any one time.
Big game— One male deer only.
Season— Ducks, geese, waterfowl; begins on the morning of September 10, and closes at dark on April 9. Prairie chickens, grouse, snipe, partridge, upland and golden plover: Begins on the morning of September 10 and clones at dark on October 9. Deer: During the month of November only.
No game of any kind can be sold. Hunting game birds with a rifle is prohibited. No aquatic fowl fan be killed between dark and daylight.
