The report of the state game warden for the quarter ending September 30 shows the issuance of about 18,000 resident hunter licenses, with ninety-nine nonresident licenses and two big game permits. Codington county took out the highest number of resident licenses at 1,270, and Brown a close second with 1,094, the fewest being reported in Buffalo county with 13. Union county with its Sioux City hunters led in nonresident licenses, with 29.
