It has been rumored that parties have been taking bass from Lake Andes with nets and some have reported that they have seen nets strung out in the lake. The rumor has proven to be a fact. Lake Andes is the best lake hi the United States for big mouth bass and a nice string can easily be taken in a day's fishing but if fish pirates are allowed to use nets the lake will soon be depleted of these fine game fish. Every one who takes fish by net, if caught, should be punished to the full extent of the law and every fisherman should make it a point to report to the proper officers any nets that maybe at the lake or used in the lake. — Geddes News.
If some of the people making these reports would do so to the proper officer and file a complaint no doubt the miscreants could be caught and get what was comidg coming to them.
