Casting Digital Nets

The city of Tabor and Colonel Thatcher do not seem to agree on the route of the Washington Highway in that vicinity. Tabor has gone to a great deal of work and pains in working the road their half of way to Tyndall and Yankton, but do not seem to have pleased Colonel Thatcher, for that gentleman has painted the road to miss Tabor one-half mile. Nothing daunted by this the Tabor Independent says that in the spring they will send out their brush artists and paint the Washington Highway the way it was promised— through their city, winding up with the remark: "God helps them who help themselves." Thus endeth the matter— at present.
