ASKING AID FOR SPILLWAY

R. C. Braidwood, J. W. Cluett, Roy Mundon, State Engineer Sylor, Dr. Farrell, G. F. Buche of this place, Rev. Fr. Sylvester of Marty and C. W. Kirkpatrick of Wagner and delegations from many of the surrounding towns are in Pierre today interviewing the governor and members of the Game and Fish department relative to additional appropriations for the completion of the Lake Andes spillway which was started last July, but has been halted because of the lack of funds. The caving-in of the banks of the ditch has required the removal of many thousands of yards of dirt that were not figured in the original survey and appropriation made by the government and state departments.
