J. J. Manbeck, of Armour, was in town Tuesday evening and in conversation with the writer he informed us that he had just rented the Johnson ranch on the east side of the lake. His daughter, Miss Nellie, is one of the contestants for the beautiful piano which the Armour Chronicle Tribune is having a voting contest on. Mr. Manbeck will give every person a nice ride on his gasoline launch who votes the full number of votes for his daughter. A years subscription to the Armour paper entitles that person to 750 votes. Here's hoping that Miss Nellie is successful.
