The Fourth of July celebration at Lake Andes promises to be a hummer, as plans are being arranged for a fine amusement program and other interesting features, besides an Indian barbacue , participated in by some 500 Indians. On the 5th of July some good horse races will be run on a track to be built in the pasture southeast of town by Jack Kindel.
Another launch was put on the lake Tuesday, making three that have been put in at this end of the lake this summer. This boat is a 16 footer and is owned by Messrs. Donohue, McKillips, Smith and Rogers, and runs very satisfactorily. We understand Homer Johnson has ordered a 23-foot launch which is expected to arrive here any day.
